Queens Game is a logic puzzle on a colored grid. Place one queen in every row, column and colored region, and work out each one by deduction rather than guessing.
What Queens Game is
Each puzzle is a square grid divided into colored regions, as many as it has rows. Place queens so that every row, every column and every colored region holds exactly one queen, and no two queens touch, not even diagonally. The full rules are on How to play.
Queens Game runs in your web browser. There is no account to create and nothing to install.
Principles
Three ideas shape Queens Game:
1. Solved by deduction
Every puzzle is generated and checked ahead of time to have exactly one solution, so each queen can be reasoned out rather than guessed.
2. Free and simple
Play for free in your browser. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to download.
3. Play your way
Click a cell with a mouse or tap it with a finger to mark it or place a queen.
Ways to play
Daily. A new puzzle each day, the same one for every player, changing at midnight UTC.
Unlimited. Starts a random puzzle from the collection, and New game brings another one at any time.
Archive. Lists every puzzle in the collection, so you can pick any one to play.
